GeoSearch2011 - "Zoom in" button

Zoom in to look more closely at a specific area.

  • Press the "Zoom in" button, and

Either: Click on a target area.

  • Position the mouse pointer (cross-hairs) on the area of interest.

  • Click the left mouse button.

  • The area on which you clicked will be at the centre of the map and the enlargement factor of the map will be doubled.

Or: Frame a target area.

  • Move the pointer above and to the left of the target area.

  • Click and hold the mouse button.

  • Drag the pointer down and to the right of the target area.

  • Once there is a redlined frame around the target area, release the mouse button.  The framed area will become the new map.
